Can’t seem to get a solid night’s sleep with your partner by your side? In recent surveys, 61% of couples have said they crave sleep more than sex. Most of the time, this can be attributed to lack of sleep. If your partner is keeping you up at night, here are 5 tips to help you sleep better with your partner and get some well deserved shut-eye.

  • Make sure your bed is big enough! The two of you should have at least a queen size bed
  • Is snoring the issue? Try nasal strips or special pillows that might help with this. If you believe something serious is wrong, see a sleep specialist to determine if extra steps are necessary.
  • Get a comfortable mattress! Motion transfer is when one partner moves and the entire bed shakes – invest in a mattress that limits motion transfer and sleep soundly again.
  • Keep the bed and your bedroom for sleep ONLY (and sex) – TV’s or anything else is a distraction that can keep your mind from relaxing.

Hopefully these 5 tips help you sleep better with your partner. Every couple is unique and finding a solution to your sleeping problem is a matter of trial and error.
